Here is the video that showed me how to do it.It's barely been a week, and we're already releasing 1.20.1 for Minecraft: Java Edition. If the path that capfan67 showed in the comments doesn't work, try opening Minecraft (Minecraft, not just the launcher), opening task manager, going into details tab, finding javaw.exe and right-clicking. I tried adding every java.exe (including javaw.exe) I could find to the GPU, but Minecraft still uses the integrated one.Įdit: I was googleing the wrong thing. It said it was on Programfiles(x86)/Minecraft, but I can’t find the Minecraft folder, there is only a Minecraft Launcher folder. I know it’s not Minecraft.exe, but java.exe, but I can’t find where it is. So, I googled it and found how to change that, the problem is I can’t find the Minecraft executable. I checked and discovered it was using the integrated GPU instead of the dedicated one. And even without shaders I think my laptop could give me more. I’m having a problem using shaders, the FPS drops so much it becomes unplayable. (#spoiler) = neat!
